Registered Massage Therapy provides an evidence-informed, non-invasive manual therapy for pain and dysfunction in the body’s soft tissues. It can help reduce your pain and discomfort. It can also help to prevent the occurrence of injury by assisting in maintaining joint range of motion and tissue mobility.
Your Registered Massage Therapist will perform a comprehensive assessment based on history, observation, palpation and movement. A specific treatment plan is created for you along with therapeutic exercises, stretching and postural education to reach your health care goals.

Laura enjoys the broad scope of practice massage can offer. From working with acute or chronic soft-tissue and musculoskeletal injuries, to working with patients with the purpose of decreasing anxiety and increasing quality of life.

To this end, she emphasizes preventative care and uses an integrative approach with all her patients. This is done by combining massage therapy with therapeutic exercise, as well as customized home care instructions based on each individual’s needs. This approach recognizes immediate and long-term health care goals for all her patients.

Furthermore, Laura’s treatments take place in a safe and body-positive space. Body shape, size, amputations, scars, injuries, orientation, and gender identity should not prevent anyone from seeking treatment.
